3 TECH GIANTS TEAM UP FOR  A FASTER WEB


3 tech giants Google, Microsoft and Mozilla have teamed up for creating WebAssembly, a bytecode that can possibly increase the browser's page loading speed by 20 folds.Currently, browsers use Javascript to interpret the page source code.

With successful implementation of WebAssembly, one can expect less page loading times, better online gaming, video editing, efficient simulation of online desktop applications.

WebAssembly is in its primitive stage and developers haven't started working on it yet.


ANDROID USERS BEWARE OF THESE APPS!

A recent study carried out by AppBugs yielded surprising results.The study revealed that many apps fail to encrypt your login details.This exposes your passwords and other login details to hackers.The most surprising fact being, developers know about this flaw and are doing nothing to fix it.

Apps like PizzaHut, NBA Game Time, Match.com are some of those having these issues.So if you have an account in any of these then it would be safe to delete it or atleast change the password till they find a way to fix this bug.

This bug has been around for a long time and none of the developers seems to be concerned about the users privacy is the most infuriating fact.


ELLO MEETS IOS

Ello, a social networking site launched their ios app recently.It's available for download on the AppStore.

Ello is a lesser known social network which focuses only on content sharing and content reading which is the primary objective of any social network.Ello is minimalistic yet beautiful.It's ad-free and atlast you would get rid of those annoying candy crush requests.

Ello would probably launch its Android and Windows app versions later this year.


600 MILLION SAMSUNG SMARTPHONES AT RISK

As much as 600 million Samsung phones have a major security flaw.Samsung phones have pre-built 3rd party apps. Swiftkey is one of them.Swiftkey allows you to type words by just sliding your finger from one letter to another rather than tapping on each letter of the word.

A research carried out by NowSecure revealed that this keyboard app can allow a hacker to remotely execute a code as a privileged user.Users can't even uninstall it because it comes built-in. Rooting the phone is the only possible solution.

Experts have suggested affected users to use a different device and avoid insecure WiFi networks.


FALLOUT 4 MAY HAVE TONE DOWN GRAPHICS

Fallout 4 may have less intense graphics because of highly interactive environment.Bethesda's Pete Hines said that because of highly interactive environment some graphical compromises had to be done.


MICROMAX RELEASES SLIMMEST PHONE IN THE WORLD


Micromax, Indian manufacturer recently released the world's slimmest phone.Micromax claims that it's only 5.1 mm thick.It's called "Canvas Silver 5" and is said to enter the market at a price of Rs.17,999.It has a 4.8 inch AMOLED display and runs on Android 5.0.2.

Before the Canvas Silver 5, Gionee Elife s5 was the slimmest phone with thickness of 5.5 mm.
